Day 223.0: A Really Great Newsletter!

Folks,

I guess that this may not be a Once-A-Month updated blog after all. (Hah!)

The short 5 minutes video of Nick Vujicic is still on my mind and I am still adamant that I find the way out of my financial situation into becoming a Financially Free individual thru my Internet Marketing Business.

2. Mike Filsaime and
3. Ewen Chia

The latter, Ewen Chia, is one of my favorite because he is home (Singapore) grown. I've personally met him and I cannot believe that a guy like Ewen Chia with his broken English can command the attention of tens and thousands of people on stage and perhaps hundreds and thousands (if not a million or more) people on the Internet.

Of course, he is a very nice guy and very approachable. No "diva" like behaviors etc.

I'm writing more about him because of a newsletter that he wrote and I believe that it is a damn good newsletter that I have read because he answers his version of Internet Marketing's Top 10 questions:

Day 221.0: My REALLY Once A Month Update

Wow!!!

This is like so UNREAL ... like it is the month of May and I am updating my Blog. So it is like it is true that I am only doing it ONCE-A-MONTH!!!

Ok... never mind...

So like I'm still yet to earn more than my initial investment in W4$3 and I feel quite down these days.

BUT... something like a short 5 minute video of Nick Vujicic (pronounced: Voo-ee-sich) made me sit up and stare into space... and allowed me to feel how blessed I am for having all the faculties of a normal person and how gratifying it feels.

One thing that I learn from watching Nick's video is:

"It is not 1st place that matters, but how you are going to finish it."

Take a look:



Imagine how he, without arms or legs, can still get up, and stand tall, triumphantly!

Imagine me, with arms and legs, can still fall down and not wanting to stand up triumphantly!

This cannot be....

Once in a while, I believe that God wants me to be in awe to His presence and that He may send a message to us via videos like this.

I am not sure why Nick is born without arms and legs but what he has, he is thankful for and he lives his life to the fullest like any able bodied person.

I learn a very important lesson from Nick:

That he can get up on his own even though he has no arms and legs.

That he can do the impossible(ie. stand up) even though he has no arms and legs.

That he lives his life to the fullest even when we see the odds stacked against him.

That we are all like Nick and that we can use the excuses that we have to live our life in self-pity, or we can use it to our best advantage and live a life fulfilled!

I'm not giving up on wanting to succeed in my W4$3 or my Internet Based Business.

I want to see myself succeed even though I feel like my "arms" and "legs" are not functioning.

I will succeed!

I will be thankful everyday of every good things that I am blessed each day!

Day 214.0: My Once a Month Update

Folks,

48 days has passed since my first day at work and I must say that I didn't have that much time or opportunity on my hands to update my W4$3 blog.

It seems like a once-a-month process.

One good news that I would like to share is that I've managed to get internet broadband access here.

YAHOO!

That was done as I had hoped, last month, that I wanted internet service in my home by April.

Not only me who has internet access in my precinct but also 10 other families here.

I think that it is a blessing that I had no Broadband Internet access here as I was forced to go out to get the people who could help me set it up and then eventually get a job with them and used that leverage to help my area get their Broadband Internet access. (STREAMYX)

Now it seems that I will be with this company in building a better company when we build a TMPoint in a more strategic location (Senawang).

So what's happened to my Internet Based Business?

I'm still promoting it via LeadsLeap.com and Lt-Plan.com.

BUT...it seems that this way is not growing my W4$3 biz so I may be looking at other ways of promoting it.

I've subscribed to my upline's newsletters and I'm going to implement some of his strategies.

Another thing that I've done is to get my hands on Mike Filsaime's Butterfly Marketing 2.0 home based training. Butterfly Marketing 1.0 was a USD$1,997.00 investment but this time, Mike decided to give BM2.0 away FREE!!!

I just had to pay for the shipping and handling: USD$39.95.

So, I am going thru his materials nowadays and I hope that I'll get some new insights and strategies in developing my Internet Marketing Business.

I really hope that I can make it in this because I feel that it is a perfect way to earn a living and still have lots of time with my loved ones.

Day 166.0: My "First Day" @ Work

Folks,

Today, I would like to call it as my First Day at Work.

I am now working at a small company called AUDECOM who is an authorized distributor of TM Sdn. Bhd. products. So, if you are in need of any products from TM and wishes for special pricing, I am your man.

Why is today so special?

It's because I have a valid work permit and a visitor's pass to stay in Malaysia for a year.

Perhaps one day, I'll share my story of how difficult is was to get my work permit.

So now I am officially back in the working force, earning an income: paycheck-to-paycheck and I am answerable to a boss.

It is like going backwards on my road to success where I wanted to be an entrepreneur and earn a living by my means but after several years of it, enough is enough isn't it?

Especially if I am not making the kind of income that I want.

What is the income that I want?

Based on what was Singapore's average income per capita, it was SGD3,600.00/mth an that was information gotten from 2005 census.

So if I want what an average Singaporean is getting in year 2005, in Malaysia, I should earn: RM8,600.00/mth or USD2,300.00/mth.

Is that possible? Let's see....

Another thing I want to do is that I am not giving up on my Internet Based Business(W4$3) and that I still want to make it a possibility to earn as above.

But, the first thing that I am going to do is to go to my house precinct(kampung/Taman), and get everyone there to sign up for STREAMYX Combo.

I hope that my April, I would have Internet service in my house and I can do IM stuff after work.

After I got the Internet Connection solved, then I'll start building my list by giving away a free e-book and it's accompanying mp3 audio file, so that folks who have no time to read, they can take the mp3 file and listen to the book.

Rather than gripe and bitch about my current situation, I think that I need to take charge of my circumstance and make thing go my way!

Day 163.0: Very Frustrating!

Folks!

I feel like I'm a man on fire but there is this wall in front of me that I find difficult to climb.

Strangely, I seem to feel that there are people who want to help me BUT like the help is either behind the wall or up on the wall BUT just too far for me to reach!

I'm frustrated with a lot of things because I want to make my business work (W4$3) but I'm still not getting the results that I want.

I think I know what to do but when I want to do them, I hit a wall like:

1. No internet connection
2. No time/opportunity
3. No way to improve my situation.

These 3 points are like excuses and I hate excuses BUT what if it is REAL?!

Like there is no internet connection that I can use to have access so that I can do the business activities for my W4$3 business?

And when I do find ways to get some internet connection, the speed is horrendously SLOW!

Or, when I have the opportunity to go to a Cyber Cafe to access the internet, my spouse would want me to do something else and I have to do something else, instead of my W4$3 biz!

Which leads to point 2 where when I have the time, I don't have the opportunity!

AND, now that I have just gotten my Work Permit, I'm going to have even more of a struggle to find time to get my W4$3 going!!! Because I have to go to work and when I've finished work, I won't have the time and/or energy to access my W4$3 business.

Like think about my daily routine:

1. Send wife to work: 8:00am
2. Start work: 9:00am
   
3. Work: 9:00am to 10:00pm
4. Reach home: 10:30pm or 11:00pm.
5. Want to do my W4$3 biz: How? No internet connection at home nor at Mother-In-Law's house! Go to Cyber Cafe? At 11:00pm?!
   

And what will the wife be doing? Making noise that I don't spend time with her and baby and family because I am always working!

And how much am I getting from my work? RM500 + Commission.

That is not a lot of money for the amount of work that I am doing BUT I am still going to do it because it was my prayer that got me that job.

So?

So, if my on-line activities only grant me USD100.00 a year (2008) and my off-line is going to give me at lease RM6000(USD1,600) a year plus commission, I guess the later is better isn't it?

It doesn't make sense really as I had a perfect work/biz model where I can stay close to the family and have a lot of time on my hand and have the potential to earn a comfortable income. But now, I have to go back to getting a job, work 12 hours a day and get 1 day off or sometimes none at all and get less that what I aspect.

The one thing that REALLY BUGS me is the lact of Internet Connection at my own home!

At least of there is one, I can still spend some time like after 11:00pm or 12:00pm to do some internet business based activities, right?

Day 114.0: Happy New Year! @ 2009!

Hi Folks!

This is the newest entry into my WorkFor3Dollars(W4$3) blog for the year of 2009.

Since last November 17, 2008, I had gotten so busy with off-line activities that I had no time to spare for my W4$3 business.

I was busy with renovating the new house that I had purchased a year ago and had now been completed in December 2008.

My wife has been a great motivator of sorts because her goal was to finish with the major renovations by two weeks. Then, throw a housewarming cum special prayers night conducted by my father-in-law.

So the first 2 weeks of December 2008 was something like "Hell Week" for my family.

BUT, we managed to finish it up on time and apart from the kitchen cabinet that is supposed to be completed by 15 January 2009, our new house was livable.

We officially moved in on December 2008.

I can't remember which date was the exact one because we were still moving things out of my mother-in-laws house and into our new place.

Last weekend, we were still moving some stuff into the house. I guess we didn't want my wife's parents to feel that we were REALLY moving out of their house and into our own by hiring a truck and moving huge amounts of stuff at one shot.

Our intention was to ease their feelings as we transit from living under their roof and now living under our own.

Back to my W4$3 business, I now have the pleasure of looking at it very closely and weighing my options.

Incidentally, my new house have no internet connection for me to do any Internet Based activities that I have to go to my parent-in-laws house to 'borrow' their internet connection.

Very frustrating!

This frustrates me even more when I hear rumors from my neighbors that the telephone company may lay the cables to my new house in April!

!@#$%#@!!

Anyways, being patient is an honorable virtue so I am praying that God answers my prayers and I get to do my work from home.

I'm weighing my options because my wife's patience with me and my Internet Home Based business is wearing out.

She is insistent, more than ever, for me to "...get out of the house and find a REAL job!"

What I am hearing her say is, "Will you get something done that is REAL so that you can help me with the bills?!"

So I hear her advice and I went back "looking" for something that is REAL so that I get an income every month, starting with January 2009.

That means that I will be back to joining the workforce very soon and that i may really have to s-t-r-e-t-c-h to find time with my Internet Based Home Business.

Day 52.2: AlertPay!

One of the things that I am concerned about my Work For 3 Dollars(W4$3) business is the AlertPay account.

I find that getting your own AlertPay account is quite tedious because of the need to CONVINCE AlertPay that you are who you are by providing them minimum of 2 documents which you can either FAX, Email or S-Mail it to them.

Also, there may be some issues about AlertPay that some people may not like at all like setting up their AlertPay account with their bank details so that they can deposit their initial $3.00(or$10.00 for GOLD Accounts) , in order to join W4$3.

I got help from another AlertPay member to help me with the initial $3.00 fee by asking him to deposit $3.00 into my AlertPay account.

This friend of mine is going to release a FR.EE e-book about AlertPay so that people who reads it will understand how to use their AlertPay account effectively.

He has just release a "blurp" about his FR.EE AlertPay e-book on his blog recently:
